Established with the conviction that neighborhoods, unique experiences and inspiring places are integral to a life well-traveled, the Palihouse brand has been designed so savvy guests can explore the people and places they visit with style, sophistication and individuality. Not a boutique hotel and not a luxury residence, Palihouse offers the best of both.
Working directly with the owner, we developed a name and identity that would remind the guests of a private club. A classic typographic signature (and its companion monogram) emblazoned most of the guest amenities. We worked with vendors and collaborators to ensure the finished pieces avoided the slick, mass-produced aesthetic of most boutique hotel brands.
Additionally to all the guest and marketing collaterals, a vast majority of the art and interior finishes decorating the property and guest suites were custom designed, printed, and fabricated locally adding a layer of authenticity and place-making to the brand.
A classic striped motif and a jewel-tone color palette were used strategically on awnings, interior finishes, and uniforms to create a cohesive, unmistakable visual identity.
